St. Peter's United Church is a dynamic congregation of the United Church of Christ

A God is Still Speaking congregation, we are proudly progressive, intentionally inclusive, and creatively spiritual. St. Peter's is home to a very diverse group of people who believe that faith and good works go hand-in-hand. There are ample opportunities for in depth Bible Study, Lively Worship, Warm Fellowship, and personal support and enrichment.St. Peter's Church has a long history of a free pulpit...and free pews. We do not believe that faith can, or should be coerced... each of us are trusted to make enlightened choices and commit ourselves to the attitude and spirit of our Lord, Jesus the Christ.

Our worship styles combines both a Traditional Service of the Word and Sacrament and a Whole Life service in the African-American Free Church Tradition 10:30AM on Sundays.
During the service there is Sunday School classes for the Children..

On Monday Evenings at 6:PM we open our doors to the youth and young adults of the area with Pete's Place, a night of urban worship geared to the young.
