Pastor Cordelia (Dee) Nowell
I accepted Christ as my personal Savior at 8 years of age.  Over the years, God has blessed me with a husband, two children and two grandchildren.
In 1989, I was ordained and licensed by the State of Ohio to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ at the Whole Life Church.  I was one of the founders of this great church. Whole Life celebrated its 18th Anniversary in August, 2004.

In 1999 God called me to become the Pastor of Whole Life.  Before pastoring the Church, I was an Associate Pastor, a spiritual counselor and an Evangelist.  I also served as a public speaker over the yeas for different churches in the Cincinnati area and out of town.  I have served in the capacity of an Adult Bible Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent and a Finance/Treasurer and I have studied under Kenneth Hagin REHMA Bible Studies of Tulsa, Oklahoma for two years.  I am a Lay Pastor, taught by the Holy Spirit.

I am on the Board of Directors of Helping Hands Outreach Ministries, Cincinnati, Ohio,  a non-profit organization designed to help the needy,  I have been privileged to serve in this capacity since its inception in 1994. I am a retired government employee with 40 years of service.  During my civil service career I have had experience in dealing with different cultures.  I have participated in numerous training programs on personal development and on-the-job enrichment. In the position of an Equal Employment Specialist in the Office of Civil Rights, US Environmental Protection Agency I was blessed with experiences in cultural diversity and special emphasis programs consisting of different ethnic backgrounds.  I am presently serving as a Diversity Consultant for the EPA. I strongly believe that in order for us to have life and life more abundantly, we need to start loving one another, unconditionally.  To advocate a Church environment that recognizes, develops and harnesses the added value of our similarities and differences throughout the body of Christ.  The Lord is using me in these latter days to be one of His vessels promoting diversity in His community.

In conclusion with my church background and workforce knowledge, I bring to St. Peter's United Church of Christ years of qualified experience.
