St. Peter's is reaching out to our community with a new weekly program called Mosaic.
Mosaic is for spiritual skeptics, seekers, and sojourners--a place to explore live from a Christian angle for folks who are new to faith, unsure about it, coming back to it after an absence, or wishing to find a new spiritual home.
Through film and other media, participants will explore the basic ideas of Christianity in a safe space where any question is welcome, dialogue is expected.

St. Peter's has lost two devoted members and wonderful friends recently.
Calvin Nowell, Sr., husband of Pastor Dee Nowell and father of well-known Gospel singer Calvin Nowell, passed away suddenly in the early hours of Wednesday March 31, 2010. Calvin's good humor and gentle encouragement will be missed by everyone. Calvin was a longtime member of the Whole Life Church of Jesus Christ, and came to St. Peter's when our congregations merged.
Mrs. Juanita Cook, mother of Lois Staten, passed away in the early hours of Sunday, May 2, 2010. She had been in the hospital for a few days. Juanita was a longtime member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church, and came to St. Peter's when the congregations merged.
We will miss both of these dear friends immensely. We extend our deepest sympathies to both families.
Patrick Nugent, minister
